Ahb Irato is a three man clan of pissed off assholes from the woods of Southern Ohio. They play scum folk; traditional-style pipe and drum music with horrible punk lyrics over top. Think GG Allin from the middle ages. They live in tents and eat whatever manner of flesh they can find. Beef Slotterus - vocals and recorder Jonny Red - War drum and backup vocals Randolph Shitler - Hand drum and backup vocals

Mission Man believes that all music is about self-expression, and he has found a tremendous freedom to express himself through hip-hop.  His music is very eclectic as his influences range from 80s music to hip-hop to jazz to rock.  Indiependent, which will be released on October 10th, 2006, gets very personal and is by far his best work.  You can hear a few of the songs from that CD here, including "You've Earned It," "Love With Passion and Live With Love," "When I Find You" and "I Need The Mic."

Starting in 2004, Mission Man has hosted a benefit concert each September, with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.  The first year, the event was held on September 27th, 2004, the 10 year anniversary of when his mom passed away from cancer.  He lost over $1,000 promoting the event, and due mostly to bad timing (the Monday night immediately after the Midpoint Music Festival in Cincinnati) there were barely enough people in attendance to pay the sound guy.  That did not stop Mission Man from trying again however.

Year 2, he learned a few things, and held the concert in his hometown of Oxford, Ohio.  That time around, he spent a little over $400 promoting the event, and it took in $242.  He donated $250 to the American Cancer Society instead of reimbursing himself.

This year, the event will take place in Dayton, Ohio, and hopefully in Oxford and Cincinnati as well. It's going to take place September 16th, 2006 at the Nite Owl in the Oregon District.
